PIAA LP530 Switch Mounting

Where did you guys mount your switch for the PIAA lights (for the owners that have them). The switch seems like an afterthought... Anyone ever open it up to mount it in the handlebar switchgear?

Same as above.

I used the angled double wide plate to fit two switches one for spots and the other for fogs.



mounted on the left mirror bracket and turned in for easy access with left thumb with hand still on grips.



I haver some new Clearwater Erica lights though now that will be replacing the PIAA's

The big plus of the LP530s is that they don't have to be dimmed for use in traffic as long as you aim them at a similar height to the low beams. I leave mine on all the time and just have the PIAA switch mounted to the side of my OEM heated grip switch using double-sided tape.

At my shop we often use an Autoswitch.com model AS7 or AS7R. I usually just tie it into the high beam switch. double click the high beam to turn on or double click to turn off. Bikes with a flash switch is also nice to tie into.
