I recently had the opportunity for a bit of experimenting with a suspension specialist in my area on my Super Ten. I'm still fine tuning and evaluating the results, but the bottom line is I am able to offer a complete set of fork cartridges and springs as modified by Nick at Stoltec Engineering that were removed from my forks for this project. These Stoltec cartridges and springs made an impressive improvement over stock, a comment I am sure you have read posted by others that have had this done. When you normally have this done, you send your forks to Nick, as the work to install the new valving is best done by someone with expertise. With the valves already installed in these cartridges, no need to send the forks, it is a simple matter of installing them and the springs in place of your OEM cartridges.
When Nick and I discussed this rebuild earlier this year, we discussed that I weigh 185 in street clothes, about 200 in full riding gear. He suggested that we go with springing for 210 pound rider weight to take into account the crash bars I have.
This is an opportunity to upgrade your front suspension at an incredible savings. I can sell them to a YST forum member for $425 plus shipping.
I'll be off line for the next few hours, but will honor the first lister to make a commitment.
EDIT: Pic shows the cartridges with fork caps, but I need to keep the fork caps. You just reuse your original ones when you install these cartridges. Thanks.
