Well I put a lot of thought into both of these items and as most of you know they aren't the cheapest accessory. Well I went ahead and got them both and I am well pleased!

I wanted to let all of you that are possibly considering these items know how great both are.
To start off with the light bar, it is the rigid industries 6" flood/spot combo. I don't ride much at night but I got it just for the reason to be seen by whoever is in my general area. Although I have taken a few night rides recently since our Tennessee weather has been a bit on the unusual side. I am extremely impressed with the way I can see so well not only on the straight aways but in the corners as well. Without the lightbar, when you lay the bike over in the corners the stock lights don't give you near the visibility that I would almost consider necessary now. Long story short... two thumbs way up for the light bar.

Onto the parabellum windshield, my wife somehow discovered how badly I was wanting one. Well it showed up on the doorstep about a week ago and on the bike it went. It's medium height and it is tinted. Well it didn't take me more than a mile to fall I love with it! It is way better than getting beat around by the stock windshield. The airflow is so smooth and all but deletes the buffeting. If I had my choice.... I wouldn't let my bike roll away from the dealership without this new windscreen.
By the way I'm 6' and 32" inseam

Well that's all I wanted to say, I hope that this may help anyone take the plunge on these items!

Roger, Roger...

Replacing the stock screen - yeah, I have this notion that from now on, when I know I'm buying a new bike, I'm going to pre-order a new windscreen and install it when I take delivery of the bike. If they'd let me, I'd swap it for the test ride!

Light bar - gotta agree. Installed mine yesterday and WHOA! That is a lot of light! Very worthy mod. :)

Got a Rigid light bar sitting in my office waiting for some other electrical goodies to arrive before I install it - can't wait to get to some electrical-farkling here soon...

I just used the brackets that came with the light bar kit.

And the just used the switch that came with it and I mounted it on the left side black radiator shroud.
