I sold the trials bike, not because it was the slowest bike I ever had.

Because it was going to be the most likely for me to get hurt on.

Trials riders are just flat amazing.

I'm with you checks, if I had one of those little things, I'd try something I shouldn't and end up having a bad day. :D

The degree of difficulty in the sections that these guys, girls and some juniors take on are unreal when you actually see them close up

I scrutineer at the world trials event here in U.K so meet them all and the levels of skills and fitness required by the competitors is extremely high ::008::

I have been riding Trials since 1973 and the progress in technique and level of difficulty never ceases to amaze me. I also ran the US Montesa team for several years in the US Nationals and was a minder in the US Wold Rounds for 5 years. I am just low level local rider but the skills learned in trials riding help everybody and every level; braking, throttle control, balance, body movement. Everything from my road racing to my adventure riding has benefited.

You can get a workout in your driveway and it is very cheap too

Impressive!!!

Joking aside, I really did enjoy trials and the JT35 327cc bike I bought was just too big for me. I'm 190# and could stand on the kick starter without it going down, even though I was getting to the point of being able to balance pretty well and have fun with it. Plus we are in the process of renovating not one, but two houses at the same time, and work the last year + has been insane. I picked the bike up cheap, had fun for a few months, and moved it like so many others.

We have a great trials community here in Maryland, including for us old farts, and I'd love to get back into it when I have the time and with a much more appropriate bike.
