...all I want to know is where to buy/get some mounted up in or near Orange County, CA. Can't seem to find any in my lazy search. Thanks!

Yea, they are a hot item over the last year or more. The Tanker class Adventure bikes are gobbling them up. Since there are no easy walk in sources, Tabasco just makes sense. He is a Tenereista like us!

Too bad that even he has to work at keeping them in stock.

Yeah jaxon will hook you up - and yes his prices are very, very competitive. i'd order even if you are a ways out from needing as sometimes demand > supply. ::008::

Check Heidenau's website. I found a local BMW dealer that had them on hand.
That is my nephew at that dealer. (Actually Honda Kawasaki, KTM, BMW)

Ask for Indy. Tell him his lunatic uncle said he better treat you good. (great kid, by the way. Knows "parts" and gear like nobody. All he has done his whole life)

Having said that, I still give Jaxon first shot on my tires. Besides, it's way cool to come home from work and find surprise packages on the porch. Beats driving all the way into Houston, over to Katy, and hauling it back strapped on the bike.
