Because you are a noob, I'll toss this out. When using the OEM skid plate, some owners have punched holes in the engines sump. You may want to do a search if you haven't already. jfyi

Lol. Yeah, I am a noob. I have only been riding for 34 years. I am aware of the short comings of the oem skid plate. If I can get a good price, it will be fine for my needs.

I did not mean you were a noob to riding.. I meant you were a noob to the site. I would rather tell someone about the plate and save them some money, then have them buy the plate and maybe screw up the entire engine and that would not be under warranty. ::26::

I kind of figured you meant that, but it was just funny being called a noob.

He of course meant "newb," not "noob." We're not particular about spelling here, but I think would all agree that anyone smart enough to ride a Super Ten is no noob.

Cheers!

I was familiar with the term "newb" being short for newbie. But I must admit, I never seen it like "noob". Kind of sounds like a polite way of saying "boob"
Anyway, if you're coming to the Rally in Colorado, you'll have a chance at winning a top notch skid plate from ACD Racing.

I am a gamer and the term "noob" is thrown around a lot in a derogatory way. It's generally meant as an insult and spelled with two "oo".

Looking for a oem skid plate and all mounting hardware in very good shape.
Are you looking for a metal Worldcrosser style skid plate or just the stock/factory plastic one?

The aluminum one. I already have the plastic one. I thought the world crosser plate had the extra pieces going up around the sides of the engine a bit. Anyway, if you have a metal one, I'm interested.
