When you get your S10 with the Yamaha side cases in May, and decide you don't like them, I would be willing to buy a set.

The stateside bikes don't come with the side bags they are an option. I know because I am ordering them for my bike. Only the Euro bikes came with them as standard gear.

Ok I guess but after shelling out the funds these OEM's cost I seriously doubt I will be looking elsewhere. Best of luck to you. I'm sure someone may not be happy with them after they receive them, I don't have money like that to throw around.

I knew that. What I'm waiting for, is you to get them, and want something else.

Realising this thread is an oldie, still it's worth noting that Yamaha sports plaza in USA has the side cases for a pretty decent price. Actually their prices for all Yamaha OEM is way below MSRP and anyone else as far as I've been able to tell from my searches. Approx US$100 off each side case and US$50 off the mounting brackets.
