Northern California Rides, Post Up!

Leaving Lodi Sunday the 7th, 9am-ish for the Carson Pass area. Sutter Hill Chevron 9:45-ish. Got some dirt to explore. Forest Service roads, usually well graded. Some High Sierra lakes to sit by. Maybe I'll bring a lunch with me, maybe I'll hit Kirkwood Inn. With a 200 mile range, fuel will not be an issue for the first time that I've ridden through there. Time permitting, Ebbett's Pass may need to be ridden as well. Don't want to hit too many spots at once, need to spread them out a bit, LOL.

Let me see if I can get the bike somewhat dialed and, more importantly, the hall pass to join you. I'll post up if I can make it. I plan on meeting you at the Chevron if I get teh green light.

250 some-odd miles, blue skies, a cooling breeze off the snow fields, makes for a fantastic day. Topped off the tank at Costco with 213 miles on it and put 4.1 gallons in, that's almost 52 mpg! Not a normal day I know, it was mostly under 65, and 30 or so miles @ less than 45, but I am overjoyed with that tankful!

Is it too early to plan for a ride on the 14th? ;D

No it's not. The early that I know of something going on works best for me anyway. So I'll plan on a ride on the 14th. Good to hear you had a good ride.

My work rotation is on my weekends right now. Stop that. You're killing me worth rides so close with great friends and like steeds. ARGH!!!! As of the 13th I will not be riding again until the 22nd due to work and a confined space rescue class. Grrrrr!!! See ya on my posted mid week ride for this Wednesday though??
