A video of Sunday afternoon hooliganism on my Versys. Fresh paved top coat that has been down just long enough for oil to be scrubbed off. I scooted this reach three times along with a bunch of similar that are not as nicely surfaced. Figured the 3rd pass both ways by a local deputy’s house as he was trying to enjoy watching football with that little parallel twin wailing by was pushing my luck, so I left his county (his is the first house at top of ridge at about 6:20-25, orange cone marks his driveway). Pure fun!

Southern WV. Sorry that one is private stock. In many years/trips across it, I've never seen another bike on it unless they were with me.

Perhaps on a field trip to WV involving enough good beer on you! (after riding of coiurse) and we might stumble across it...never can tell about these things.

That one sure looked familiar to me. There are several roads down that way that have a similar feel. Not positive I know the one in your video, but I can think of a few good candidates that I've ridden. I won't blurt them out in fear of spoiling your beer request.

Nice video. What system are you using?
Thank you. "System" would be an el cheapo Flip Cam velcroed to my left chest pocket, but it serves the purpose in a pinch.

sssshhhhh! ;) I was on a few others the same afternoon that lay like this one. But the current road was the only one with pristine but scrubbed in new topcoat...absolutely the snitz...and likely east of your usual haunts down this way. I'm pretty sure I'll be back riding it this coming Sunday if the weather forecasts holds. Whooohooooo!

Can we get some clues. That looks like fun. Does it go N to S or E to W or vice versa. Whats the posted speed limit ? What county ?

Since spklbuk says he's never seen another motorcycle on the road, I'm confident I'm not giving away any of his secrets with the following popular bike roads. Part of his video reminded me a lot of Rt 66 between Cass and the Snowshoe area. Other parts made me think of Rt 15 between Valley Head and Webster Springs. Two of my favorite WV roads. Very popular with bikes, but still rarely need to share the road with anyone.

I'll admit I like the idea there is a great road out there I haven't found yet. Makes me want to do some more exploring.
