Hi Guys

Just joined the Forum and introducing myself. I live in Merseyside Uk. Been riding since 1978 , Old British stuff then mainly BMW's First the old Air Heads then a K , Various GS's , Triumphs including a Tiger . My last bike that I traded for the S10 was a Honda Varadero Xl1000. 35,000 happy trouble free miles. However they don't make em anymore and they are a previous generation bike now. I tried a Supertenere when launched and I was very impressed but very expensive , two varaderos later I test rode another a month or so ago and ....well that was it, had to have one. It was even better than i remembered. I still also have a Harley Roadking. Like chalk and cheese I know but I love it too, for different reasons than the Adventure style bikes. Anyway , once i had decided i had to have the S10 I trawled the Autotrader and dropped on a 2015 Es with kit on it for a fantastic price . Only had it a short wile and added a few necessities , hugger, fender extender, battery lead. I am over the moon with it . I do most work on my bikes although the electrickery injectrickery stuff I would get sorted by a dealer, fingers crossed not happened yet.

I'm looking forward to being an active forum member and to exploring other peoples experiences and tips with the S10. In return I hope to share my experiences and maybe help other members where I can.

I am really starting to like the grey. Too many choices.

Great looking bike and enjoy the ride.

Welcome aboard, from Bedfordshire.

I'm running a 2014 ES, as are several other UK members. There is plenty of info/advice here for you, now the ES models are better understood.

Enjoy the new ride ..................... KEN ::004::

Greetings.

Good choice of bike, I have one of those ancient ones where you have to turn the suspension adjusters.

I'm also a newby. Just joined. Picking up a new 2016 ES this week! I will be riding in Hamilton and the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario Canada. I plan to commute about 80 KM (50 miles) a day and to take occasional pleasure rides. Probably pavement only. I am hoping for a few stolen moments with the bike before the weather gets cold and the salt is applied to the roads. I just got back into road bikes this past June after an eight year hiatus. Bought a Kawasaki Versys (delightful bike) to see if I still like it. This helped me identify what I wanted in a move up. So after only a few months back on the road, I traded the Kaw for a new Super Ten. Hoping for good fortune.
