Folks,

Just got a new 2012 (leftover). I pick it up on Saturday. I am so stoked. Replaces my Weestrom I had to sell when I left Europe last summer.

Can't wait to start throwing on the aftermarket stuff. I believe the Dempster is calling my name.

Hey hey, welcome on, Surfdad. Congrats on that new bike acquisition. Hmmm … four more days. You can do it. The Dempster is an epic bit of road. You need to plan and prepare, but it will be well worth it. The Dempster was named after an RCMP officer, Corporal Dempster. He found the Lost Patrol. Google Lost Patrol sometime. Quite the story. I digress. ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::

When I bought the S10 in 2012, I had just sold a Wee as well. You'll love the Tenere. The Wee is great, but you'll like the extra grunt, more relaxed highway RPM, lower center of gravity, and the fact that the Tenere is much easier to work on. Oh yea, and no more loud "hiss" from the chain! ::008::

Oh yeah, not to mention the S10 is rediculously better on the dirt!

I will definitely miss the Weestrom. It was a great bike throughout Europe. Never a problem and rode the Pyranees and Alps like a champ. Hard to believe you can get a S10 for the same price I got the Weestrom for in Germany. The S10 is so much more bike for the dollar.
