Greetings from Roseville, CA. As a late Christmas present to myself I purchased a new 2012 Super Tenere. This bike joins two other road bikes, a Harley Ultra Classic for riding with my wife, and a KLR for trips into the
Sierra's. I thought I would have purchased a BMW GS 1200, but after all the repair issues and then the great reviews on the Yamaha I choose to test ride the Super Tenere. Once I rode the Super T I was sold, seems to handle as well as the BMW and I trust the Yamaha reliability much better than the BMW.
So now it is time to determine the crash bars, skid plate, luggage bags and other items. I already tried the clutch mode via a fuse in the switch, boy what a difference. Looking like that little fuse is there to stay.
I really enjoyed my KLR, it only needed more power and better brakes, both of which are on the Super T. I can't wait fr better weather to get out and experience to Super T at its best.
