Just introducing myself to the group. I just bought my first adventure bike although I have been riding and racing off road for most of my life. I picked up a sweet deal on a new 2013 Super T and so far have only logged on about 230 miles locally. I'm really looking forward to getting to know this bike and taking some trips.

My dad began riding on the road and eventually began racing enduros back in the 70s. What boy could not become interested in motorcycles? My dad bought me my first bike when I was 8 which was a Honda Mini Trail 50 and have never stopped. Motorcycles and racing became a way of life for my family with my brother racing and eventually my uncle. The family of racers continued on to win many championships, including ISDE medals. Currently we have 3 generations competing and still winning championships.

Aside from the intensity of racing, I have grown to enjoy dual sport riding after owning a 2007 Honda 650XRL up until last year. I have taken and few trips with my dad and friends and also have entered some organized dual sport/adventure rides. Many of the guys I ride with own the bigger adventure bikes so I became interested in those. With the support of my wife, we decided to purchase the Super T and look forward riding together as well as myself taking a few trips with the guys.

Welcome from another Minnesota boy! Been away for 35 years but still consider it home, and have a huge family up there so visit regularly.

Hard watching the Wild get beat up by the Blackhawks yet again in the playoffs. Just can't get past those guys.

Congrats on the new bike!!
