I already got scolded for making a post without an intro, so here you go.
This is a bit of a love story. I dated "K" in high school and college. We had a serious relationship but we were just kids. After my marriage of 11 years failed, "K" and I are back together. We've been together for about a year now and things are so much better than either of us could have imagined.
I didn't have a car in college. I rode an old xs650. K even somehow fell asleep on the back of it one night. I've been a dirt rider for the last few years. I've got a yz 250 in the garage.
Anyway, "k" and I got to talking about a month ago about dreams, traveling, bikes, etc. She's a bit of world traveler. I'm pretty much a dumb redneck.
So, last week, "k" bought us a s10. Naturally, it's been the coldest weekend of the year. We managed a little more than 200 miles this weekend.
Looking forward to putting some serious miles on this bike. All of the luggage should be here soon. Can't wait to load it down and skip town.
Here are 2 pics from today. The second one caused some serious stares from traffic driving by. We just pulled over at a scenic spot to warm up a bit and K decided to lay down in the sunshine.
