A few weeks ago I sat on a friend's Super Yenere with a Corbin seat. I was impressed with how it felt and thought it was more comfortable than my Sargent modified OEM seat. He even let me put it on my bike and I took a ride around the block. Felt great. So....I ordered one. They were out of stock with the non heated model, but it finally came in yesterday. I swapped the bracket from my OEM seat, as is required and thought it really looked great. I always have liked leather seats.
Then today, I took my first ride on it. Only about 30 miles, but I found that it doesn't work for me. My anatomy in the seating area is such that I have to have a very flat surface toward the front. The Corbin has a slight rise and after that short ride, I was experiencing discomfort in the front and I knew that it wouldn't work for me on a long ride.
So, if you are considering getting a non heated Corbin seat for your Super Tenere. I can save you some $$. Corbin gets $347 plus shipping, plus tax in CA, don't know if they charge tax in other states if you buy direct from them. I bought it thru my dealer, so I paid tax here in IL. I'll sell this brand new one for $300 plus shipping, no tax anywhere.
