Hello everyone. Greetings from Northern Virginia. After my Military retirement and after long and careful motorcycle reviews, I decided to get a Super Tenere as a retirement gift for myself. It is 2014 charcoal. You might agree with me but I think I made a wonderful choice. This is my first bike ever and I love it. During my younger years, I though getting a motorcycle would be dangerous for me because I love speed. I still do but I am matured now-I think.

I recently put it in service for the first 600 miles. I can to wait to get it back from the shop. Anyway, I have been enjoying reading the forum and just wanted to say hello to you all.

I live on the south side of Damascus MD and commute into DC, so welcome from the area. Look for the thread about the Romney Camp-N-Ride and the lessons which we have a vendor coming in to provide. It's tailored just for guys like you.

Welcome. Always good to see prior service folk enjoying life. I have the same year and color as you and I have to say, it is one hell of a great looking cycle. Enjoy it as much as you can and keep the rubber side down.
