Welcome Bob. Are you thinking of joining the list of waiting S10 buyers?

Thanks for the hellos. I'm still on the fence, as the FJR just keeps running so well.

Live in Damascus, MD.

I travel a lot and got a short parking lot demo on a borrowed Super-T. Liked it a lot and found the ergos similar to the R1200GS, but without the boxer motor that I'm just not a fan of. I very much like that the Yamaha isn't as quite as dependent on the electronics as the BMW and Duck, so owners can do at least some of their own maintenance and mods.

Prefer the black Super-T.

Welcome. Thought maybe you had just wandered in lost from the FJR forum. ;)

Are you keeping the FJR?

Hello Bob and welcome to the asylum! I have ridden some in your area as I have family near Westminster. Not a bad place to call home.

Welcome Checkswrecks. looks like your going to fit right in, seems like many of us here have an FJR in the fleet. I love my 05.

Hey Bob, FJR was on my shortlist before choosing the S10 that I am waiting to own. I can only imagine that the FJR is an incredible bike amongst the true Sport-Tourers. This may be a tough decision for you unless you have some ambitions on straying off road. In anycase, welcome aboard!

Welcome, Bob.

You may as well face the fact that the FJR is history. The S10 is your future.
Then again, every man should have at least 2 bikes ... 8)

Hey Bob

Had an FJR 2 yrs ago. Rode it from columbus, ohio to rangeley lake , maine. On the way back rode from wilmington, Mass back to dublin, ohio in one day. That bike can eat miles w/o breaking a sweat. Think u will like this S-10 even more.
