It's better value! It is regarded as the benchmark, the best with regard to design, quality and practical features which are adaptable with many add ons ( not just Mosko stuff, I have ordered Army kit to go on as it uses the same system). It's what many YouTubers on expeditions use. The only draw back is the weight and cost, comes with the amount of layers and quality of components/materials. You can lose some of the weight by going with the Mosko Scout range but really the one to go for is the Backcountry kit for all the features and durability. Loads of reviews on it, big following on Facebook etc. MOsko has its own culture almost... for me, I love the look of the Mosko stuff, you can see it's serious kit. The Givi Canyon stuff looks OK but sorry the Enduristan stuff looks shit, just looks like a plastic bag, cheap... but then I am shallow like that

I bought mine on pre order with a 20% discount and free shipping and have to wait until March for them due to this but I am still paying about £1100-1200 I think, I don,t dare add It up! These are bags for life for me so will work out in the end. They are VERY sought after in the U.K. So command high prices, you won,t lose much if anything if you sell in a few years time.

As said, it's all paid up, job done, no nasty surprises. Mosko Moto don,t charge the VAT you basically pay that 20% to the delivery company as they have payed it already to HMRC the Govt! See below.... Mosko basically ensure you don,t pay the 20% twice...
Originally went with the Mosko Reckless 80 for mine but ended up putting racks on and going with the Back Country 35's. The biggest issue with rackless is the large unsupported airspace on the right side of the bike...you need a pretty stiff rackless system to keep your bag from getting between the tire and the fender. Also of note is that the passenger grab rails are kind of in the way, it's do-able but a much cleaner (slimmer) look to pull them off if you're going to go rackless.
I haven’t weighed them but they include a massive mounting plate and the bags themselves aren’t waterproof. They rely on a separate internal bag for water proofing which is in its self very heavy duty. I’ll test it out but I expect if I fill them up with camping gear it will exceed the carrying capacity of the racks
I'm running metal mule racks and Back Country 35's....I cannot imagine any concern with exceeding the carrying capacity unless your camping gear consists of bricks and cement blocks. I've packed mine full of gear enough to support multi-week trips over thousands of miles and never had any issues or worried about the integrity of my racks.

That’s reassuring as I also use metal mule racks but can’t find the weight capacity anywhere for them. I’ll talk to Mike at MM to check but they are indeed of robust construction.
