So i started out with a stock screen then went to a Givi almost right away, a few weeks after that i went with the Parabellum the 24" to be exact which worked awesome for me, then I ordered a Russell Day Long saddle, its taller than the stock saddle kinda like running the stock seat in a setting one step higher than the high one (did that make sense?) so im now way over the 24" screen so i called the nice people at Parabellum and asked if the made a 26" they said they were working on it and would let me know when it was ready which they did!
so today the man in brown arrives with my new 26" screen which takes 3 mins to fit and is exactly what i needed to cure the problems i now have with the Russell (which im just not getting along with) although to be honest i would have liked the taller screen anyway before so maybe i can get them to make a 28" lol just kidding lol
so thats the Parabellum part out the way now onto the Day Long part!
i ordered a day long, gave them all my details and pics and sent them a new front seat, a few weeks later my custom seat arrives here and i throw it on the bike and realize the high position is REALLY high in fact to high for me to feel comfy so i drop it down a notch, now on the low setting its half an inch further back and still feels too high for me in fact i feel like im rocking back and forth on a part of the seat im not sposed to be sitting on, its like im an inch and a half too far forward and an inch and a half too high, when i brake i slide into the tank when i accelerate my bum rolls back into the "pocket" where i think im sposed to be sitting!
so anybody else with a Day Long on a super 10 let me know their experience? i know its something i did wrong (my wife tells me that so it must be right) and im trying to sit on the wrong part of the seat but so far after 200 miles and adding 1" risers i actually witched back to the stock seat!
i seem to be sitting on the middle of the bump toward the front of the seat
