You guys can always report a post to the mods and we'll get an email about it. Just in case we don't react with this same level of lightning-speed every time.

I may have a new moderator position open soon, since Swagger is somewhat MIA. If anybody is interested PM me. No guarantees, I haven't thought it completely through yet, but it would be nice to know if there is interest in the job.

Nah, didn't get any emails from you.

A moderator position is pretty simple. It mostly involves organizing the site. For example, making sure that posts are in the correct boards based on their topic. In the case of the spammer we just had, a moderator can delete the offending posts.

I also have been using the moderators as a "steering committee," such that I bounce new ideas off of them first before going to the general user base. Kind of a pre-screening of ideas of sorts.

A quick update for everybody - I've had at least a half dozen people PM me about interest in being a moderator. I'm happy there is such a level of interest and that folks are happy to help out.

With that said, I'm still thinking about what I'm doing, who I'm picking, etc. The feedback here is great and is certainly influencing my decisions.
