LP530 PIAA Grill question

Has anyone cut the "PIAA" letters from the grills? It seems like it would obstruct some of the light and I don't like to be a rolling billboard.

Not sure, but I took black spray paint and covered up the word YAMAHA all over my bike.

I scuffed mine up and painted them black for the same reason. Recently I just took them off (preferred the look). It doesn't make any noticeable difference in the light pattern.
