Los Angeles: New S10 owner

Hey everyone!

Long time reader, first time writer on the forum. I'm about 5 hours away from turning a 1 week old S10 owner.

I bought a 2014 ST (non-ES) for about $15,000 OTD at a dealership in SoCal. So far she's been nice, but she is very different from my old Tiger 800XC, in both good and bad ways.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to learn more about the bike and share my experience with her as time progresses.

Here she is:



Fully stock except for Alt Rider crash bars.

Stuff in the mail coming my way: Alt Rider skid plate, SW Motech ALU luggage.
Stuff that will eventually make it to the bike: Mitas M60 or TKC80s

I've tried the Full Bore M40 which are essentially Shinko 705s and was very well impressed. I'll look into it!

I have M40's (impressed) on my Tenere and just installed the Shinko 804/805's on my KLR. Will install the Shinko's on my Tenere for a Texas trip.
