....What are your off-road experiences with ES ?
Absolutely none. But, I use the adjust on the fly ALOT. I'm 300lbs, and my wife is, ahem....nevermind. My point is that between the need to change the preload fairly often, and road conditions dictating what the dampening/rebound needs to be set at....being able to make the changes quickly, and on the fly, is greatness. I am ass-uming that being able to do the same off-road would be just as advantageous. I could be wrong though.

NEVER; not even close. And, with my featherweight spouse on the back, we're at the 450lb GVWR. She, the bike, still handles like she's unloaded. And, she, again the bike, will keep up with my son on his R6, in the curves.

Late summer last year found 16 standards for $10500 out the door plus tax. Bought a 16 es for not much more.
FYI when people say out the door price, that means including tax. I paid $11.5k out the door for my 2017 non-ES last year in Sublimity Oregon. Flew up to Portland, took the shuttle to Salem, then rode back down the coast.

I pay tax in my home state when I licensed and titled my bike. The bike went out the door including setup, doc fees, freight, etc for that price. Tax varies widely around here and between states. I prefer my sales tax stays local as well.

I understand that, but still - you'd be misrepresenting the total 'out the door' price paid on the bike by not including those additional costs. "Out the door price" is literally synonymous with "includes tax title & license" regardless of what state you paid those fees to.

Thank you !!! Looks like a fair price , what you guys think ?
That's a great price. But they may tack on a couple thousand in freight and "setup" fees, so be aware of that and don't let them sneak it in after you already feel trapped in the sale.

I do see your point. Sales tax is dependent on which state you are in though. I would pay no sales tax in Montana, or 9.5% in Louisiana. A big difference in OTD price if you factor in sales tax.

However dealer fees are always negotiable. Doc fee? Freight? Set up fee? Those fees are where they get your money. Beware of a killer deal, only to find out that the final price you pay is $$$$ more.
Sales tax is what it is.
