Before I do some radical surgery on my Klim Badlands Pro pants, I thought I'd see if any others here had discovered my issue and a work-around. My Badlands Pro pants have armor in the knees. klim has sewn in many different SMALL bits of velcro that gives you alot of flexibility in locating and securing the armor. My issue is that the velcro bits are simply not robust enough to hold the armor in my selected location for very long. Thus I am left with the armor down below my knee protecting my shin?! I am contemplating going in there with some needle and thread to carefully stitch the two armor pocket liners together to make a semi-permanent form-fitted pouch to keep the armor exactly where I want it. Anybody else crossed this bridge before and found some simpler solution that I might be overlooking?
