::015:: FOR GOODNESS SAKE STOP finding silly faults with your Super Teneres. If the sidestand peg offends you THEN CUT THE DAM THING OFF. you are like spoilt children. Why send a banner to Japan thanking Yamaha for a brilliant motorcycle when all you do, day in and day out is find faults (imagined or otherwise) with your motorcycles. Go and buy a BMW GSA and then you will have cause for complaint. ::002::

Seems to be an American affliction these days. Life's too easy over here and we've lost our grit. :-[

Me neither, buddy! I probably should have been a little more specific as to the term "American". I meant the US.

Of course, you're Canadian AND American, eh? ::015::

No worries, there. I was serious about the grits. I love grits. You can buy organic stone ground yellow grits here. I cook them up and add some cheese ... suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumbich. Good stuff. What you might call ... True Grit .... heh heh. R

So ... I've been sat on the beast in the garage up on its centre stand checking out the sidestand action. Not the greatest of designs but I don't have any problems ... seems I can get the heel of my boot on to it and push it straight down. I did notice I actually use my heel to push the footpeg back which in turn allows me easy access to the sticky out bit on the sidestand. I ain't gonna be modifying mine. :p

Exactly the trick. I actually like it once getting the hang of it.
