Hi Jeff, you'll find plenty of former FJR owners here (myself included, as I had both an 04 and an 08), and lots of info about the ST. It has a few faults, a couple of recalls but has mostly been reliable for the majority of members here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys/gals. I've been talking with my local dealer about a Super T. I want a new bike before I retire (3 years) and the best deal on a super T would be a non current model. He's told me the 15's will have extra factory incentives after July 16. I want the bags included, don't necessarily need an 'es' so at present i'm saving my pennies and cruisin this site.

The S10 feels feather light compared to an old FJR. Light years ahead in all areas. Make sure to get a 2014(Gen 2) or newer S10. Big improvements over the Gen 1s. Just got back from visiting relatives in Kingston. Looks like lots of good adventure riding north of town.
Probably get a better deal right now compared to spring. Go for it. You won't be disappointed!
