...I know its been mentioned here before, but I'll say it again, check those vent hose routings when you go to put the tank back down!

I just changed the oil and went to rotate the tank up to do a sync (bike has been running just a little rough and some trips coming up) and whoosh, out came a pretty good load of water on the floor from the vent hose outlets at the bash plate! Looked at the hoses and they definitely had been pinched to the air box and not in their proper "groove". I decided to put a note on the airbox "Check vent hoses" so I don't do that again ::010::. Had it off before and was not so stupid. Leason learned ::012::

Water in fuel may be the issue with the poor running.... We shall see!

Question: What are you synching? I know dual carb bikes need to be synched, but help this new guy understand what you are doing.

Thanks for the reminder. Where did the water come from?

A small amount could have been some condensate and fuel vapor from the tank but I assume at this point it came from a combo of riding in the rain as of late and a wash ?
Must have been water coming in around the fuel cap rim and not draining out properly?

I thought for a second my bike was incontinent! :D
