I had the same problem when I went to a K60 on the rear and a shinko E-705 radial on the front.

It became solid again as long as I keep the Shinko above 40 PSI with a max of 42. :) Anything below 40 PSI on the front I was chasing myself. It was very unstable. ???
The Shinko states on the side 42 PSI cold and they mean it. :)

I like the K60 in all conditions (one heck of a tire so far), but the Shinko radial running lower pressure even at 36 psi for the dirt feels like stock pre 08 KLR fork flex X10. Sucks bad. ::007:: If I forget to air up to 40 or more before I hit the slab I am reminded real fast.

This is my first radial on a bike and I think it will be my last. If I can't lower the pressure in the dirt with this tire then it's not much good to me. :(
