Just make sure you don’t put dot 5 (synthetic) into the system that has had dot 4 in it (mineral). What clutch fluid we running fellow human beings?

All brake fluids are synthetic. The difference is that Dot 3/4 are glycol based and Dot 5 is silicone based. Another difference is that Dot 5 is a liquid, but it is compressible. That is the reason Harleys using Dot 5 had soft mushy brakes and Harley changed newer bikes over to Dot 4.Just make sure you don’t put dot 5 (synthetic) into the system that has had dot 4 in it (mineral).
It will turn to jelly and you’ll need to replace everything.
Dot 4 is what you want.
Then there's good old DOT 5.1 5.1 will mix with 3 & 4, but not 5. At about $100 a gallon, I won't be fooling around with any 5.1

It's all bad to put in your body via the rump. That's my rule. Idk. I'm not a science doctor. All are synthetic?
Well, there ya go… if I remember this, I will have learnt something today
They lasted about 30 seconds after that photo...lol
it doesn,t matter what company you buy stuff from in Germany you know there will always be HARIBO in there
It's all about keeping your brake fluid fresh. Fresh DOT3 has a higher boiling point than 2 year old DOT4 or 5.1 for that matter.
I have thought the same thing several times! When was the last time our car's brake fluid was changed? We're good about the bikes, but I bet we overlook our 4-wheel rides. I'm guilty.
