I'm not sure if my motor sounds correct

Hey guys, I have about 3k on my 2014 S10 and my motor sounds like a diesel under mild acceleration. Still under warranty and want to know if they all sound like this. I shim valves on my crotch rockets and I know "Tappy is Happy", but this sound is different from anything I've heard before and I've owned dozens of bikes. Closest dealer is 1.5 hours away and don't want to make the trip if this is normal. Thanks!
