Well, brother and I rode to Idyllwild Saturday (08-01-15) and I must say. That was one of the best times/rides I have done in a long time!!! Good times, good company, good weather and some good food. 308 miles round trip for us. If there is anybody out there I would recommend this place as a destination, superb day trip or weekend trip!!!

Sure is. And it is even better during the week, when the roads to and from are virtually empty!

Believe it or not, the roads weren't that full of traffic. Just enough to make it fun!!! I will do that ride again for sure!!!

I have spent a night in Idyllwild and enjoyed it and have also ridden it both ways two other times. Lots O Fun!
