Hi to everyone. I am a 63 year old rider and I live just outside of Weatherford, Texas. I think I bought my first bike, a little 2 cylinder, 2 cycle, 125 cc Suzuki in 1967 or 1968. I have owned a lot of bikes since then. After test riding Triumph Tiger 800 XRX, BMW 700 and 800 GS's, KTM 1190 Adventure and finally a friends 2013 Super Tenere, I traded my 2010 Triumph Tiger 1050 in on a 2015 Super Tenere. I also own a 2014 Triumph Bonneville Black. Most of my riding is touring, usually one or two trips a year, plus some weekend rides.
I bought the Super T on Saturday November 11, got my 600 mile break in miles on the following Sunday and Monday, did the 600 mile service and took a two day trip to East Texas for some 2 lane blacktop roads in the piney woods. Great weather. The cruise control is a really nice luxury. I am going to really enjoy it on some of those 500 - 600 mile days!
I ordered Caribou luggage before I left and it came in while I was in East Texas, so I was installing luggage this afternoon. It seems to be really good stuff.
