Horn No Worky

Just wondering what fuse (circuit) the horn receives current?

I pulled my forks yesterday to grease and check my steering stem bearings. Put everything back together. Used my horn today and it gave a very quick and faint blast and now no longer works. I thought I blew a fuse but after checking the manual I see no mention of the horn. I checked all the fuses underneath the right side panel but all appeared fine.

Thoughts?

Just to be sure, did you check the obvious place first?
Since you were working in the vicinity of the horn, you could have easily pulled one of the horn wires loose?
Possibly pinched the wires for the horn during reassembly of the forks?

Changed mine out for a Mazda MX5 one. 10 times louder.

I checked the circuit last night with a test light but didn’t get any response. Will have to check again today with a multi-meter. All fuses are fine and signals still work

I have had issues with my horn button, got a lot of corrosion in it. Just something else to check.

When I had the forks off and on my bench the other day the horn did take a hit or two so maybe it just needs some convincing to work again. Still it’s strange that the test light didn’t respond to the button tho. Will have to check into it further this evening
