Has any one in US ordered Holan luggage direct from there web site ? I'm wondering how it went with timing, shipping ect.

Got my top box direct from the manufacturer. Quick delivery to the DC area and no issues other than how much it cost to ship an empty box of air.

Good to hear ! I just ordered a 45L top box, inner liner bag and locks. Seems like you get a lot for your $ with Holan I like the 2mm thickness and 4mm bottom. No quick release but I have no need to remove box in hurry so I'm fine with that. I was looking at the Givi Outback line but didn't like the idea of the locking system being inside the box.

I did. Took a while to get the configuration I wanted, but it was over the winter, so no rush.

Top box finally arrived took about 2 months. I ordered the grey box & prior to ordering they told me it was in stock and would ship right away well not exactly. If you order from them expect a wait and if shows up sooner all the better. The box is nice looking and seems really well built compared to the some of the other boxes out there I think it was worth the wait. Anybody have a hard time installing the locks on these things ? I tried fitting them in without forcing them or getting out the tools but they don't want to go.
My locks went in easily. I did put a bit of black silicone sealer on the threads after finding one of the nuts kept coming loose.
A word of advice if you want to order Holan stuff directly from Europe.
Tomek who owns Holan is a great guy but very busy. Because of that he can be slow to respond to queries and to get stuff shipped out.
Tomek's buddy Oleksii who runs alburmoto.com can supply you with everything from Holan at the same price, and is much faster to respond and ship.
