Hell everyone, new guy from Winston-Salem, NC here. In the interest of full disclosure, I don't actually own a Super Ten, but they are definitely sweet bikes. I work for RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring & Travel Magazine and we are always interested in what a particular bike says about the person who purchased it. So I'm here to learn about Tenere riders. I think I'm going to like it here...

I'm another non-S10 owner and really enjoy this site.
Lots of great folks and info so when I do get an S10, I'll be ready.
I enjoy your magazine/website too. Keep up the good work.
I'll bet that is a great job!

Hello Dave... I have owned several bikes of different types and capabilities. The S10 is one of the most perfect motorcycles for street and off road that I have ever ridden. If you ride one, you would definately want one... You will find on this site riders with many different skill levels and reasons for buying the S10...

I think you'll find many here that came from BMW as I did(GS-another great bike) and others coming from the Vstroms and KLR'S or the Dirt and Sport Touring world. Yamaha found the perfect balance of cost, performance, weight, and touring capability with this bike. You may find, that this bike is a little of all the bikes many of us have owned previously rolled into one reliable reasonably priced package.

Welcome aboard, and great mag you're a part of. The only one I've ever subscribed to.

Hey welcome! You'll learn alot from lurking and once you own it this forum will keep it farkled and running well.

I don't subscribe but have come across it and liked the balance of touring articles. The couple of gear tests I read were good as well.

HI everybody, thanks for the love and the welcome! I am currently riding a Suzuki SV650, it's a fun little bike, but I do want to eventually get something I can take off road
