Welcome on, Rob .. bloke from UK. I saw your other post and don't know how to respond. I guess you'd have to compare it to another Tenere. Anyway, congrats on the new bike. Enjoy. I hope nothing is wrong, but if so, it can be fixed. ::004:: R ::022::

In 4 years my GSA had 2 shaft drives, a set of front brake pistons, an ABS controller and a fork seal, thank feck I took out the extended warranty else I would have been thousands down on the deal.

Welcome fellow UK Bloke,
I almost ended up with a 1200GS (I have an 1100, which is great ) but was saved by the superten,
I hope to get to the June gathering so may see you there, I am from sussex, so if you are coming this way maybe we can meet for a coffee, greta biker cafe, Wessons at Horam .

damm, these forums are friendly..
I am gonna try and make the Dover Castle event but off to St Tropez on the Harley on the 5th May for 10 days so need to watch the finances a bit.
Did you ever book a trip and then wished you hadn't and you can't not go because you would be letting down very excited others??

Hi Rob, great to have yet another UK Tenere Owner on board.

Any time your "Up't North" give me a shout, failing that hope to see you sown at Dover meet later in the year.

Cheers Ray

The Dover Event sounds like a good time, I'm kind of surprised to see so many ex GS owners.

"I am also in negotiations with the ferry companies to try and get a good deal for the European riders to join us, the ferry crossing is from Calais to Dover and then just half an hour to the campsite.'

If you could negotiate a ferry for us Yanks, we might be able to make it as well. ::026:: ::001::

Welcome to the dark side, I guess.
