Hi all, Just my quink introduction. Im from South Australia and been rinding since I got my licence at 16, Im now 45 (wow time goes quick). Ive owned several road bikes, and current bikes are a Suzuki 750 GSX-R and now the S10,which I just traded my Harley for. Im absolutly loving the S10, I picked it up last wednesday and booked the first 1000km service in the same day as soon as I got home. Just had that service today and really enjoyed putting them kms on it in 5 days. Ive been coming to this forum a bit and its really useful, I have to thank twitch for his post on fitting the FZ-1, I fitted mine today after the service and his post helped a lot...Im not experianced with electrical work, but everything worked first time. Anyway I will leave it there and catch up with you all again.

Welcome on, Camel. I envy your being able to ride. I'm looking at 4 feet of snow. Oh well, hard cheese I guess. We'll be looking forward to seeing some of your countryside. Congrats on the bike. ::004:: . R. ::022::

I feel your pain, Rem. Yesterday was 3 hours of snow shoveling to sculpt a accomodations for both cars at home, preceded by plowing all day at work to abate the snow drifts on the access roads... while vis faded in and out of white out. Next was driving home. Local gov't decided to take down the wind blockers a few days prior to one the nastiest blizzards we've had in awile..the Japanese are a slave to routine. Felt like doing woops on a motocross track all the way home and visbility was a beyotch!
Some at work got a bulldozer stuck today....those are always a workout to get unstuck with the RR timbers, shovels and all. Can't wait to get back to tron work and the S10 riding in Spring.

Oh yeah...WELCOME, Camel!

Thanks guys for the welcome.I will try and answer some of the questions that some of you asked here. Sorry if I'm brief, I'm in a bit of a rush to get ready for my first trip to wilpena pound with another member on here...User name Tolong. First the color of bike is Blue with the silver side panels (I know very common, but I think thats the only color they bought to Australia) would of loved a Black one, they look awesome in black. To answer the question about what goodies I'm fitting...Ive already fitted a Touratech adjustable windshield/GPS bracket and a Garmin 660 Zumo (Looks great and should be a big help). Also a Tap lite USB charger, (very handy for phone and Go-pro cameras) I will be fitting all the Alt-rider Gaurds, Bash plate, engine guard, rear luggage rack etc. and got a rotopax system to fit. Panniers are 31/38 liter Metal Mule system. Should be getting it all delivered today (Geeze I'm going to be busy fitting it all)
Oh and for those that cant ride because of the snow,I'm hearing you...My biggest weather problem is if I get a cloudy day or rain HE HE. Anyway better go start getting ready and crossed fingers the Alt-riderr stuff and panniers get here soon.

Welcome! ::001:: ::022::

Yeah, I'm still a bit snowed in - my driveway and street are covered in packed snow and ice and there's snow in the forecast but I did manage to get out on the highway on Sunday and go for a blast with the wife. It will soon be spring and at least we don't have poisonous wildlife. Dangerous maybe but not poisonous. :)

G'day Camel. Welcome. Wow, traded the Harley. Never had one. Don't think I ever will. After the S10, everything else falls short. Sorry ::025:: Enjoy your ride & remember its the voyage not the destination. Ride SAFE. ::022:: ::021::
