Hi all. I came across this site when Googling for paint protectors for my newly aquired silver Super Tenere.
I got it this week, it was firstly the dealers demo bike, then bought by someone who took it to 2000 miles, then me. It joins my FJR AS (I think it's called the "ES" in north America) and a Yamaha XJR1300, I believe you don't get that one.
I have only managed to do 50 miles on it, with my better half riding pillion, her comment "Blime, this is high, haha"
If it's comfortable for her with the luggage fitted we will take it on our annual trip to the Alps, instead of the FJR.

::004:: Hello Grumpy and welcome to the forum from Cork in Éire. I suppose that you will change your forum name to "HAPPY" now that you have a Tenere. ::015:: :D ::003::

Hi and welcome from another UK S10 owner. I have just sold my XJR1300 because I haven't ridden it since I got the Ten. I did 15 miles between the MOT in April 2012 and the one I had done just before I sold it. I bet you'll find the same with both your other bikes. They'll get bored and lonely just sitting there in the garage while you take the S10 out all the time :)

When is your Alps trip

Were off Mid July, done some two-up runs and a weekend away and it worked really well, did have Tony Archer rework the seats with an extra inch of foam which has made a big difference to comfort, but it was not too bad standard.

Low down restrictions and weak rear shock will be the two biggest limitations with that sort of Journey fully loaded with two adults, but easy enough to sort, although I have yet to find a bike that has not needed some suspension work to handle really sweet two-up.

Thanks all for the big welcome. Rasher, it's me Chris from the A.R. site, it's a small world.

I guessed so, which is why I did not bother re-posting the Flash / Suspension details ::008::

Luckily you are close to both vendors ;)
