Hello from New Mexico

I have been lurking on this site for quite a while and I'm inching closer and closer to buying a S10, so I have decided to join in on the fun. After doing a considerable amount of reading and watching countless hours of YouTube video about the S10, I believe it is the ideal bike for my intended purpose. The only things I left to do is to jump in on a test ride somewhere and seal a deal. Currently I own way too many bikes and I'm looking to consolidate into two or maybe three fun, reliable, no drama machines. It appears that Yamaha has those catagories covered and then some, ( I already have a Yamaha WR250R.) The maintenance, insurance, and storage on my bikes is killing me! I am an experienced long range offroad/road rider and I want to concentrate my efforts on travel and not have to screw around with bikes so much.

I live in southwest New Mexico south of Silver City along the Continental Divide. If you live in the area or you're just passing though, I'd love to meet up for a ride or just to B.S.

Welcome to the forum. I'm a bit farther West at the moment, soon to be a lot farther East, (MS).

I hope the Super Ten meets your needs if you decide to purchase. Once you're sure, don't forget to check out the bikes for sale on the forum. Deals sometimes, when the farkles are what you might choose for your needs. Don't forget to factor a luggage system in your purchase. Sometimes that's a good opportunity to haggle.
