No real mods except for an aftermarket skid plate and a headlight cover "imported" from Canada.
I don't get out to ride it as much as I'd like, between work, the "Honey do list" and my back...

Not a native of the "Enchanted Mitten" just where we wound up after my Fathers Military and Civil Service careers.
Been here 35 years now, Hoping some day I can talk the wife into moving somewhere that it's warm year around.

Howier, That looked like it would have been a lot of fun, unfortunately I just got back in town.
I did something similar a couple years ago, my neighbor's Father is a retired Detroit motorcycle cop and we went down there for a tour of the city.
Just trying to keep up with him (he's 74-75 years old) was a job in itself.

I'm in southeastern MI as well. Work for one of the Big Three. We have a really nice riding club, doing at least one longer ride per month and a couple of nice trip's per year. Did the Tunnel of Trees in Sept, really nice for a MI ride.
Nonmembers are more than welcome to come along. Shoot me a PM if you're ever interested in going riding.

Welcome, 4 hounds! I am not all that far away from you (London, Ontario.) My dad had dual citizenship and lived in and around Detroit for a number of years as a young man. I am a Red Wings and Tigers fan as well, so I feel a real connection with Michigan.
