I am picking the new bike up on Friday. I still love my KLR but have a feeling it will not get used as much. My wife likes to ride with me and after we did a 1,500 mile trip last year I vowed that I would not do do that again all cramped up on that bike. I am planning a trip from Long Island to Nova Scotia in late June on this bike. It will be nice to be able to exceed 70 MPH on the highway.

If your wife survived and still likes riding with you after a 1,500miles trip on a "gay"LR ;)(what we call them here in SA) she's gonna luv the S10 and so are you.

Picked up mine in Cape Town last weekend and rode it up to Pretoria with my brother (1,000miles) and loved it.

Enjoy!

Welcome tbss1! Good luck with the bike on Friday. I'll bet you're going to like it! :)

Hudson? That's in my neck of the woods here. What times of the year are you around Florida, so we can keep you in the loop of goings on.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new SuperT!! If you and your wife survived a 1500 mile trip on a KLR, the SuperT is going to feel like a GoldWing in comparison (in a good way).

Good luck!!

I really like my KLR it is just a bit underpowered for long stretches on the interstate but I never had a problem with it. I was just out in the garage trying to make room for the new bike and I felt sorry for my Magna 750 that was sitting in the corner with a bunch a crap that I stacked on the seat. I just can't bring myself to sell it but I doubt it will be ridden much anymore. It going to be a tight squeeze in there now. I will try to get some pictures to post on Satuday when I get back.

I have a house in Hudson but we are only getting down there about 3-4 times a year. I had the Magna down there for years but the carbs kept getting fouled due to non-use so I brought it up to LI.
