Hi all.
Well I'm here after many months of lurking!
I got S10 in May last year (2015), a lightly used 13 model. About 4k when I bought it, about 12k now.
The obligatory farkling has been; trax panniers, baglux tank cover, rear rack, my old topbox, heated grips and that black plastic infill bit so it doesn't look gap toothed.
Besides the usual weekend scampering we've been to Wales, Scotland and Eire.
Oh and it's blue because thats the fastest colour I hear ::015::

Welcome, a good bit of the world for you bike, I used to live in Upper Pittington.
It should be made law to fit an old bit to a new bike, I have had the same Baglux tank bag on all my bikes since 1996

I'm a Baglux sort of guy too, although I use a modified GSLC tank bag these days, which fits the tank bra well.

Welcome Steve ::008::

While i'm here - me and a mate are going on a tour of Scotland in the summer and heading back south via Northumberland - a county I have always wanted to visit. Can any of you local boys recommend any particular good bike routes in Northumberland we should be thinking about riding ? Cheers

A loop around Kielder Reservoir from Bonchester Bridge (South of Hawick) or Hawick itself for a very narrow but very scenic route in the borders to Bellingham and then head off to the A68 should do the trick. If you are heading down the coast then keep to the Bamburgh /Seahouses Road along the coast and follow through to Amble & Ashington and then through the Tyne Tunnel (free for bikes) and continue South. There are so many good, scenic routes to check out. PM me if you want more specifics ::008::
