Hi, been doing some research on heated clothing and as many of you have already advised Gerbing seems to be the way to go, anyway one site I found very useful on explaining how it all works was on YouTube, thought I would post it up in case anyone was new to the heated scene like myself. Clearly its an advert for the product but was very useful none the less.

ordered my olympia and sidis from Revzilla. good people to work with. one note: their point system only works up to 30 points per order. So if yer gonna get more than 30 points on your order, call them up or split up the order.

I used to use Gerbings and they are quite good. I found for me, though, the features of the "warm and safe" brand liner and controller were a better fit. I love this liner and the "remote controller" (which, by the way, will work with any electric liner, is so much more convenient. Note that "warm and safe" is the maker of all the heated gear sold under the "Firstgear" name, too. Any more, all the big manufacturers have great stuff, but the warm and safe best fit my needs. No, I'm not affiliated and, like some, I find the website and some email replies a bit gruff, but I can't argue with the product. Worth checking out (and for anyone that is a member of another well known ADV forum, there is quite a good discount.
