Handguard Help

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some help regarding some new handgaurds for the beast. i was looking at either the Acerbis Rally types or the Uniko type by Acerbis as well. just seeing if anyone has had any knowledge of how these fit the tenere without moving anything, and whether the kaoko throttle control works with the usual Acerbis handle bar extensions.

Welcome to the forum HamptonYami! I'm still running the stock hand guards so can't offer much help to you. Seems like there has been at least one person here that has changed theirs though.

In the meantime, how about posting an intro over in the "Member intro" section of the forum.

Expensive but they fit very well on the demo bike.

I ran Touratechs on my BMW and liked them alot...they have a slimmer profile and a higher quality finish than the Yamaha version and are not so klunky looking...I mounted a strip of LED's on them, ala Audi...and they really got people's attention going down the road!

In fact, I still have those and was thinking of mounting them on the ST...just haven't gotten around to it yet...

Nice idea. Something ZI have been thinking about myself, after viewing something similar on a couple of ADVr threads... looking forward to seeing the photos of yours once you get them installed on the big Yammie...

The touratechs are ok, but I had my eye on the more enduro styling that acerbis has to offer
