there is some really great technical information I have seen on here. The only problem is most of it is lost in the middle of threads that grow to no end. I have found threads start out with generic talk and then Greg post up some great info and gets lost. I even tried to look through his photos and man he has a load of great pictures on here but there is not caption to what he was showing on some.

It would be nice to have a place to look for technical mods with pictures thread.

Some examples I've seen and can't find anymore
Zumo GPS mount w/ Wasp screen adjuster
think I saw something about raising dog legs
even some of Altrider mods
heated grips install

It would be nice to go to a place and see headings and then bang all the info is right there to help all of us.

Haven't used the database much, perhaps it is the answer.
It's supposed to be, at least that was the driving force behind it.

I agree with you, Martin, I also hate how so much great info gets lost over time. I can easily put another database category in that ANYBODY can edit (wiki-style). Maybe a "how-to" category, maybe jut a general "Top Info" type of thing. If people are interested in helping to maintain and track this information I'm all for it. But it usually takes somebody to go back after the fact and update the DB with the links to the threads and such.

Food for thought.

That is a good idea.. GrahamD has a sticky thread on the ADV forum just for the Super tenere. It would be great if we could use that thread as a starter. With Graham's permission, of course. ;D
