Went to cycle gear Friday and they had a Bilt Explorer riding gear on sale. You buy jacket at reg price and you get pants, gloves, boots and helmet for free! So for $260 you get all of this! Rode Saturday in 47 degrees and it kept me friggin warm. Great stuff!

Went to Cycle Gear in Louisville last Saturday looking for the new Shoei J Cruise helmet. Did not have it in stock but the wife bought a set of Frost Proof gloves. Priced at around $25 but when she went to pay for them she was charge only $15. It was a cool day outside so she was happy riding the 120 mile home.
I went home and ordered the Shoei for her and it arrived in four days from Cycle Gear online.

Anyone checking this gear out will be pleasantly surprised. the quality is real good and good enough for most guys with economy budgets.
I have alot of gear but that combo deal is hard to beat and the clothing is as good as many other brands.

I picked up the Air version, my OTD was $360. The helmet was a bit snug in my temples, but its conforming nicely the more I wear it. The only thing I don't like are the gloves; the hard rubber in the knuckles irritated my middle finger base knuckle on my left hand to the point where I couldn't wear the glove anymore. To be fair, its not the first time I've had knuckle protection do that. I also wore the pants for a ride last Wednesday, and the knee pads slipped down to become shin guards when I was standing, so I removed them. I'm looking for a better solution to wear under the pants when I ride...

The jacket is by far my favorite piece. The mesh flows plenty of air, and its comfortable without be being constricting. I did try to use my Camelback bladder in the hydration pocket, but without a strap to hold the top of the bladder, all the weight sat in the pocket and felt odd on my back, so I grabbed my hydration backpack instead.
