I was happy about my dealership giving me my fist oil change free this weekend! Sehorn Yamaha in Shawnee, OK. Plus they were over 1,000 dollars under MSRP. They also got back with me about the top box not locking tightly. They swapped it out with no questions asked, and talked to the factory rep about it - who was aware of the problem.

I have to put in a good word for my buddy Dan Maxey at Maxey's. They don't work for free but they've been in business fifty years and they do the work right and take great care of me. I've been a customer there since my folks helped me buy a 1969 Honda Mini Trail. Shawnee would be a long drive for me for service but if you're close to him and he's good.. good on ya. It's a great thing when you have a local dealer you can trust.

Being an X-Okie, I have heard good things about Maxey's in OKC and the owner (owner's son?) rides a Super Tenere.

We are fortunate in Oklahoma to have several great dealers in this state. I don't know of any that have bad service departments or that won't treat you fairly. I did get mine at Maxey's, but checked with just about every dealer in the state before buying my Super Tenere. The deciding factor was came down to the best deal and who was close to me for service. All were within a couple hundred dollars of each other. ::021::
