Jeff, now what are you going to ride? It's still at least 3 months away... maybe more? Was the KLR that bad? I never have owned one but did not like it much when I rode it several times. It felt like it would not take pavement at 80 very well. I have 1 hour out of town solid metro each time I leave home.HoebSTer said:The KLR IS SOLD!!!! HA!!! $3500 bucks after I paid $3400 for it, and sold the extra wheels for $475!!! Not bad for a month of riding!!! Now, I have a GREEN MONEY PILE growing in my hand for when it comes harvest time of the green and pay me for a TENERE!!!!
Congrats Jeff!!! Sounds like you did well on the pricing. KLR's typiclly hold their value pretty decent.HoebSTer said:The KLR IS SOLD!!!! IMHO, they don't handle higher freeway speeds that well - but then they were not designed for that. Still one of the better DS bikes over the years.motocephalic said:Was the KLR that bad? I get periodic updates from him. He will be at WeSTOC in Nelson BC later this month. Are you going to be there? Oh wait - you don't have a bike!!!!HoebSTer said:Thanks Rod!!! Hey, have you heard from Digiacomo lately? Last I heard he was on his way back from Panama, and was near Florida.
