Givi Outback Saddlebags

I'm new to this forum, so hope you can help me out. I'm going to purchase a new 2014 S10 ES and saw the GIVI saddlebags but was wondering if they are, when mounted to the bike, any wider that OEM saddlegabs?

I believe somebody in there has a set of 37L cases that measure 38 inches across. The "symmetrical" 37/48L setup would add 2" more to that. OEM cases are around 35".
