Is anyone getting Givi crash bars? They look good for $153.00
I thought about these as the price is right and Givi makes a decent set of bars (I've had them on several other bikes).

IIRC, they have the same problem as others on the market in that you cannot remove the side panels with the bars in place.

(this is a Vendor area of the Forum - so I'm moving this thread to "Modifications")

Are they available yet in the states. I've been sort of waiting for them to be available, but eventually purchased the alt rider bars.

There are a few places out there that offer free shipping on Givi stuff. For example, HelmetHead Cycles, which I have bought from several times with great success. I just checked and they do not show availability on the bars for the SuperT, but may be able to order them. Might be worth the call?

:)

They must be heavy!! Sporttour.com describes them as follows:

"The TN355ecific engine guards / crash bars for the Yamaha YTZ 1200 for 2011. These bars are painted black and are constructed from 1" steel bar."

Do you have to adjust the preload to use them?? :D

Haven't seen any Titanium offerings yet. I think heavy is the default option. SW Motech is the only option that is designed with aesthetics in mind to match the bike's lines. The GIVI doesn't do the Tenere any favors regarding appearance.

Did you see the Hepco and Becker offering on that same page? Real clean lines. And a big chunk more expensive. Hmmm, get what you pay for?
